Android app for organizing and cleaning up photos and videos, with review before deletion and on-device processing.
The project
Android app built to clean up phone galleries without manually tapping hundreds of thumbnails. Photos and videos are grouped by month so users can swipe or tap to keep or mark for deletion, preview videos inline and review every item before final confirmation.
All media processing stays strictly local on the device; no photos or videos are uploaded to external servers.
Includes light and dark themes, saved monthly progress, cleanup statistics, multi-language support (with Arabic, Persian, Russian and Hindi added in release 3.3.0) and an optional one-time purchase to remove ads.
Technical highlights
- 100% on-device gallery indexing and video preview powered by photo_manager and video_player
- Reactive state management with Riverpod paired with Hive local persistence for session progress and cleanup metrics
- Google Mobile Ads + one-time in_app_purchase unlock, monitored with Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Microsoft Clarity
